Weather Warrior FREE Giveaway Write UP

I bumped into Teri Schrader at the Tour De Scottsdale bike race at a booth she had for her Weather Warrior Base Layer Bib. The Weather Warrior is a great idea and a piece of clothing all cyclists should add to their cycling list of must items.

The Weather Warrior base layer bib is the only remove while you ride base layer out there. As you warm up it’s off in a flash without stopping or removing helmet, pack or other clothes. It is easy to wear, vent, remove and stow.

Weather Warrior has given Ride-Strong.com a FREE Weather Warrior base layer bib to giveaway to one of our lucky readers. Simply comment on this post with your name, city, state, and your size and we will be giving a base layer away. We will be picking a person on Saturday November 22, 2008.

Well, we just got our first snow of the year here in Detroit. Needless to say, Weather Warrior would be awesome to have on these chilly days!

It’s too cold too early here this year. This Weather Warrior looks like a great idea! It sure would help, especially early in a ride before one has a chance to get warmed up. Size Small…

A great idea, especially here in Tucson where it usually warms up as the morning progresses. Also great for hauling up the mountain and then putting it on for the ride down.

I just got back from a ride here in Apex, North Carolina and it’s already chillin’ down. So, I’m ready for that toasty feeling. I hope I win! Just give me a shout in an email if I’m the lucky one and I’ll give you my address. Thanks!

This would be a great addition to the cold weather riding I’m being forced to endure here in NW Indiana.

This would be very useful- just getting flurries here in STL, so the roads are good, but it is chilly

Looks like a great idea. In Seattle we have some gradual temperature changes that this product will suit. It might work as a transition between my layers also. Keep up the good ideas.

Whoa, that’s actually probably the coolest product I’ve seen featured on here. A good base layer without too much bulkiness, and some seriously bad ass quickness on pulling it off. I’m in for the contest!

This kind of product is perfect for Tucson. It’s that time of year when it’s cold in the morning and hot in the afternoon. Riding through the transition in temperature can make the decision of what to wear really tough.

I just spent 90 minutes out in the wind today. Didn’t see ONE other cyclist. It took me longer to warm up afterward than it did to ride. Weather Warrior would be a GREAT tool, Pull it off when you get climbing, put it back on for the long descents or the SLOW MILEs into the wind, like today.

Large, by the way.

This has to be one of the best ideas that has come along in a long time.
I could really use this in early spring and late fall in Indiana.

It’s perfect for winter in southern Arizona where arm and leg warmers us up most of your “packing space” once removed.

Looks like a great idea for where I live, Jacksonville, FL. Early morning starts can be very cool, but heat up quickly as the sun rises. I ride with a vest and arm warmers, but have to stop to remove the vest as the temp rises. The Weather Warrior seems the perfect prescription for morning rides in the North Florida winter.

Reasons why this is great:
1. I’m a graduate student… no money
2. I really hate the cold
3. My wife hates the cold more and she is the same size as me.
