This is crazy. Never seen anything like it before. The Yellow Jersey leader Daryl Impey gets taken out by Theo Bos intentionally in the Tour of Turkey.

What should happen to the rider who took Theo down?
Better yet, kick the entire team of the race!!!!!!

Can’t see exactly what transpired as far as contact just before the pull down but whatever did, it was uncalled for in any case!

No, it’s Theo Bos that appears to throw Darryl Impey (the leader in yellow) in front of himself and into the barriers. There is some debate as to whether Bos was stuffed from behind and caught a wheel on the unevenly spaced barriers. All this was happening as he was reaching out to push for space. Once you start falling, you’d probably hold on to anything you had. It looks bad but that might be the real story. I was outraged at first but now I’m having doubts. That’s not how I’d crash someone, not that I would, that is.

LeGimpe – you make a good point but we’re talking Pros here, not Joes. So, they should be far more capable of dealing with this kind of squeeze and not pull another rider down (like you said – in front of them) in the process of dealing with a bad situation. I was taken down recently and all I had time to do (in about the same amount of time as shown here) was try to steer away without taking anyone out to my open side but when trapped I then tried to go up and over. I had the bars firmly in my hands as purely a reactionary measure and rode out the resulting roll. My hands never left the bars till the bike was pulled from them and I was inverted. I’d take your side on some of the points given but these are Pros.

That is the most disgusting display of sportsmanship I have ever seen.
Bos should be fined, thrown out and fired from his team.

Sorry LeGimpe, but I don’t see any uneven pavement, just plain BS from Bos.

Ride On!

I think if Theo Bos did it on purpose he should receive some sort of suspension from racing and have to pay Daryl Impey’s loss of income and medical bills over the next months.

Most crazy thing I have ever sen
