Cars are lethal machines. We aren't safe out there; we'll always lose in any accident. That this happened in a race just makes it more horrible because even in an organized event like this, you aren't safe from the incompetents in motor vehicles. I guess some drivers would say that they shouldn't have been on the road. Please riders I know that we should keep our focus on the road, but ALWAYS keep a weary eye on the cars around you whether they are approaching you from the front or back. Stay Safe!
