I think if he makes a come-back, and he's actually equal or better than the current generation, then let him come back!
He's a great athlete with a lot of drive in what he does.

The Tour de Georgia is not going to happen in 2009. Lance, et al should race a race like the Tour of the Battenkill instead. It's a real race...

Much as I wouldn't mind seeing Lance in the TdF, and I think it would be great for cycling in America. I would much rather see him put his talent to better use. Manage a team, train some younger riders. They are out there and they could use the insight that you have.
But on the other hand, I would LOVE to see him put it to the French Press ONE MORE TIME!!!
But, I wonder if ASO would even let Astana ride next year.
One last thing, they keep mentioning that 4 of Lance's old teammates have since tested positive for one thing or another. But just remember, neither Vino, Ricco, Rassmusen(sp?), Kashiken, Petacchi, Moreni, Dmitri Fofonov or Moises Duenas were his teammates and they were dropped from the tour for allegedly doping. So Why doesn't the press mention ALL the non-Postie/Disco riders that have tested positive.
Please, Lance just stick it to the ONE MORE TIME!!!

Ride On!

I'm curious on what team he'll be riding for. I've read it would be Astana, but I would be pretty upset if I was Alberto or Levi. I've never really been a true fan of Lance's (he's gifted and could probably beat me when he's 80 yrs old, but he focused on one event for the year and had a team built for him to be a contender), but I would really hate to see him just be part of the peloten and not up front like we are used to. I wish him well and I hope he accomplishes what he wants to. Could you imagine him winning the TDF for an 8th time after a two year hiatus? The European press would be devastated! Go Lance.
