I will start commuting soon. I will use the money I save on not buying gas at the bike shop. Last year I saved over $500 , this year I will save even more.

I’m spending more. New tires/tubes, new wheels for one old bike…all so I have better equipment for COMMUTING…..I’m just waiting for warmer, drier weather….What I’m spending is less than a month’s worth of gas for the car….and it’ll all last a lot longer, too!

We’re spending money on the bikes so we can ride back and forth to work. Wonder if there will be money for races, even if we’re aren’t spending it on gas. Still have to eat….but my husband HAS to do some races.
