FREE AquaJoe giveaway write up

 aquajoe

Avi Ohring of AquaJoe sent me an AquaJoe to check out and give to a Ride-Strong.com reader. Please comment on this blog post at your chance to win a FREE AquaJoe. We will be drawing the lucky winner on Friday, May 2, 2008.

AquaJoe is the first portable scoop and dispenser that is designed to be compatible with all drink powders, bottle waters and sports bottles.

Cyclist will appreciate the fact that they can turn their cycling water bottles into their favorite sports drink without having to lug around a big canister that some many sports drinks come in. Simple one-handed operation allows the AquaJoe to be used anywhere.

Check out the video below as to how the AquaJoe works.

Looks like a very handy item, especially when I’m bleary-eyed and trying to get on the road at 4 A.M. I hate leaving powder spilled all over the kitchen counter.

I like the one hand operation on this – would be interesting to try for those long endurance rides.

Excellent idea! Have it ready for when your bottle runs dry and all you need to do is fill it with water from anywhere and add. Done.

Nice. Neat, no more spilled powders all over the counter, no need for a funnel. This is nifty. I could definitely use this!

I would be willing to give it a try. Couldn’t be worse than my trusty ol’ paper cup with the bottom cut out of it. Does this thing have measurements on the side of it as well?

Nevermind about the measurements… I see them now on the main picture. Maybe they should have a write up for prescription glasses for me.

This also has applications in the outdoors world. This thing would be handy to take backpacking/mountaineering/etc. to add some flavor to water on extended trips (or use to cut the whiskey).

This is cool, I have been using old pill bottles for the same thing but this looks to make less of a mess when the lids come off.

Great idea. Looks much easier to add to a sports bottle than the old pill bottles and sandwich baggies I have been using

One great feature of the AquaJoe is its ‘lego-like’ design. Need more capacity? Not a problem. An unlimited number can be snapped together. There will be additinal products coming that the AquaJoe can snap to.
The AquaJoe can be used with or without the carrying clip. You can slip it into your pocket or use it with a keyring & carabiner.
