I just put a hitch on our Prius today, we skipped the 2nd step of the instructions and trimmed the fascia in place before removing the tow hook. I highly recommend doing the same. However, I have found that a Sardis Bones 3 will work with the older style Prius and you don't have to set the feet on the plastic bumper, just swivel them to rest against the bottom of the trunk (boot) lid.
