Confidence if a funny thing. Sometimes it is so elusive you wonder what rabbit hole you have to go down to in order to find it. At other times, all you have to do is grab it on the fly. As a lady (I'm not positive how this works with guys), I think its 50/50 on what you achieve within yourself, and what others tell you about yourself. However, as the article stated, setting goals and watching yourself achieve them is a GREAT way to build confidence, especially if your goals are realistic. I also like to watch others who are successful, study them and their techniques, while feeling positive that I can achieve my goals as well. This was a great article, and I'm extremely happy to have read it!

To Bill Strickland...and just about anyone out there: It's never too late to have a happy childhood!
Don't know where I first read that line, but it's great.
And for some of us, as kids or as adults (or both), cycling brings the happiness.
