I hope that you will be able to challenge him in front of his superiors and /or a class action civil lawsuit should definitly raise a sense of awareness among these beligerent badge wearing officers whose concerns are limited to their own EGO. I am sure you can find an attorney in your own group who would be willing to challenge the police dpt. Unfortunately, there isn't one. And the Public Information Officer lady of course has to say the Deputy wasn't at fault. Can you imagine what would happen if she said the deputy was to blame? We are in a double pace line. I can only imagine the panic in the pack. This Sheriff was putting lifes at risk and endangering everybody. What possible cause could he have had driving strait at the pack. I see this getting out of hand. We can not let the Sheriff Dept. get away this easy. Do they realise how much a "bent" frame costs? Total BS. I wasn't in the main group this time, but I've seen what's been going on for the past few weeks and I think they're trying to intimidate us and run us 'spandex wearin' fruit cakes' out of town.
